Increasingly tougher competition is forcing all companies to constantly take a position in regard to what the company’s actual core competence is, and through that, what competence and abilities can be carried out more efficiently and with a higher degree of flexibility by partners.

At Sonat, we often say that we function as an “insourced logistics department” – a partner that takes responsibility for carrying out operations and developing logistics functions in close cooperation with the client company’s personnel.

Sonat is independent in relation to transporters and warehouse operators. Because of this, we have no interest in selling our own physical resources. Instead we work wholeheartedly to operate and develop our customers’ logistics in the most efficient way possible.
When we commit to operating and developing a function this often involves taking responsibility for the total logistics function, but sometimes only for a certain part, for example, Replenishment, Order management, or Freight management.
